Fines for not wearing life jackets

1. Who is the main person or group of people in this news article? The Hawke’s Bay Harbour master Mr Norman and 8 people in Hawke’s Bay.
2. What was the key event from the news article? That you will get fined for not wearing a life jackets.
3. Where did this event take place? Hawke's Bay. 
4. When did this event take place? On the 11th of March.
5. Why did this event happen?  Because people were not wearing life jackets and put themselves in danger.

a) Too has two meanings, what are they?
Too- Is used in expressions.
  To- To is used with infinitive verbs.

NFC tags.

a) Research and find 5 facts about NFC tags.
1.Stops shoplifting.
2.NFC has to limit its range to just a few centimetres.
3.Used to communicate with NFC capable smartphones.
4.Almost anything can be transmitted.
5.Things have to be really close to the NFC tags.

b) What is good about NFC tags? It stops shoplifting and almost anything can be transmitted. Its also used to communicate with NFC capable smartphones.


c) What is one potential weakness of NFC tags?
You can only use it if you are near it or placed on it. NFC have a limited its range to just a few centimetres.

a) Your and you’re are homophones Why are they homophones? They are homophones because they are to different words that sound the same but are spelled differently and have a different meaning


b) when should we use your and when should we use you’re? You would use the word you're when saying you are... when saying its yours laptop.


c) Write 3 example sentences using your and 3 example sentences using you’re. These sentences should be about YOU and your life and not be copied and pasted.

Mum- "How was paintball?"
Me- "Fine."
Mum- "Thats good What happened to your hand?"
Me- "I hurt it when I was doing abseiling."

 * Try everything even if you're scared.

 * Remember to get a good night sleep,  don't stay up talking all night.

 *Listen to what your teachers say because it could be useful.

 * Always make sure you eat something and have a drink of water when you can.
